COVID 19 Company Policy and Procedure

As COVID-19 continues to impact the global community, we at Quinlan Tree Service want to update you on the steps we have taken to ensure the safety of our employees and customers, as well as business continuity for the communities we serve here in Michigan.

We will remain open for business

We recognize that some of our services are not of an emergency nature.  Yet, other times they are. Though we remain open for business and fully committed to fulfilling the needs of our community.

Things will get back to normal at some point and we do not want you to fall behind in the tasks, chores and needs our services provide.

Our service is an outdoor service and we have several options to keep with the social distancing recommendations. From an estimate through final closing of the project, we do not need to physically interact. Everything can be done by phone or digital means.

Example:

  • Call or email for an estimate (phone, digital)
  • We arrive on time for estimate. Look over the tree care needs. (no contact, text communications while on site)
  • We email the written estimate to you. (no contact)
  • You schedule your tree service needs. (phone, email or through our Jobber App)
  • We provide the service per contract. (no contact) you can look over to make sure we complete the work to your satisfaction.
  • Service agreement billing is sent via email and payments can be made through online banking. (again no contact)

Everyone has a right to treat this virus as they choose. We want to be the tree company that is social and community responsible, while still providing you with exceptional tree care service that Quinlan Tree Service has been providing Oakland County and surrounding areas since 1969.

The safety of our employees and customers is always our highest priority, and we recognize that heightened diligence and focus on health and safety is required during these challenging times.

We are actively monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and local health officials here in Michigan; and we have been proactively and continually implementing measures and developing plans to prioritize the health and well-being of our employees and customers.

We require all staff to be equipped with the following personal protective equipment (PPE) for peace of mind and prevention:

  • Masks
  • Gloves
  • Equipment Disinfectant (We’ve done this years as to not spread tree disease)
  • Hand Sanitizer

Quinlan Tree Service is requiring employees to stay home or seek medical attention consistent with CDC and WHO guidelines if they are experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, and fever.

So far no employees have been sick.

Should there be concerns about any employee, please contact us at 248-363-8500.

For the safety of our employees and customers, prior to booking an appointment and again prior to our staff arriving to a home, we may make inquiries to confirm there are no occupants of a customer’s residence experiencing any symptoms and to confirm we have explicit authorization to service the residence.

For the safety of our community and consistent with health guidelines, we do reserve the right to postpone service in situations where symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, and fever are encountered or confirmed.

This is a challenging time for everyone, and the situation is changing daily. We are committed to maintaining our business operations and ensuring you continue to receive the highest quality service from us without disruption, and we thank you for your continued trust in us.
